Executive Director: Jorge Continentino – Joined BMF on 02/01/2015
Brazilian Music is my foundation, I grow up in a musical family and was lucky to get to have the access to amazing material since I was a little kid. I’ve worked professionally with music for over 25 years and now I’m having the opportunity to join the BMFSOM as an Executive Director and Musical Director. I felt in love with the idea of having a school of music that is dedicated only to Brazilian Music here in NYC, and I will do my best to help the BMFSOM to reach its success. We are building a place where we will not only teach our music and diffuse our culture, but we will help people around the globe thru Brazilian music, create projects to incentive music in poorer areas, not just helping kids and adults to find a new path, but to help the world itself.
